Second in a series of scans of small-press out-of-print books from long ago that are not findable today, whether in electronic or paper form.
This 1995 small-press publication is an internal guidebook for practice in an old-school, top-shelf California New-Age flagship cult.
To keep it straight, note, in the 70’s, there were three main distinct top-shelf new-age flagship cults of different denominations:
Californism: Da Free John
Boulderism: Chogyam Trungpa
Oregonism: Bhagwan Shree Rajneesh (Osho) [On the calendar, very early 80’s, but culturally at the tail end of the 70’s]
Bonus: a book of discourses on Money
After skimming "Go The Way" what stood out to me was
1. mostly very sane and down to earth advice
2. more conservative than I thought (see recommended frequency of Sexual Activity)
3. the person cult is very off putting for me and it's hard to imagine no negative side effects coming from that
